Every year, Year 6 embarks on a school residential trip and we hope that all Year 6 children take part. This year we have chosen to go to Grosvenor Hall, Ashford from 6th February – 8th February 2019. The site is very impressive and children will take part in 11 activities during their stay. This may include: archery, zip wire, aero ball, low ropes, blind trail, team tasks, football, basketball, cinema etc.
A complete indoor and outdoor education facility set in the grounds of a former manor house in Ashford, Kent within easy reach of London and international transport links. On of our largest centres, Grosvenor Hall is perfect for larger groups and more advanced development programmes.
The centre is run by fully qualified and experienced staff, who have many years of experience working with children of all ages and children will be accompanied by Y6 staff.
This trip offers the children the chance to experience genuine outdoor education and have life experiences with real learning outcomes. It allows us to teach the children skills that we cannot do in the classroom, focusing on team building in particular and prepares them for independence in decision making in secondary school.
