Before Christmas, 4J took part in a Christmas Concert as part of the Westminster Cathedral Chorister outreach programme we sang group songs and our solo song.
In December Year 4 classes visited the National Gallery where they looked at paintings depicting the Christmas story, the guide told us all about the paintings and asked us lots of questions. After they went out and had fun watching all the performers in Trafalgar Square.
In January we visited the new Wonderlab at the Science Museum we had lots of fun exploring and finding out fascinating facts including lots on our recent topic of States of Matter
In April both classes went to the Centre for Wildlife to explore animals in their habitat, they had lots of fun doing activities such as pond dipping and bug hunting. They found creatures including tadpoles and a newt.
London Zoo trip – Both year 4 classes visited London Zoo Rainforest exhibition as part of their science topic in class, the pupils attended a workshop on Science in the 18th Century. The pupils even had time for a short visit around the zoo to see some of the animals.
