Anti-Bullying Week 2019 -Anti-Bullying Week

November 11, 2019 @ 8:00 am - November 15, 2019 @ 5:00 pm

Anti-Bullying Week 2019Anti-Bullying Week takes place from November 11th to the 15th and is intended to raise awareness of the issue of bullying among children, especially in schools. Children of all ages as well as parents are encouraged to get involved with anti-bullying and help to shine a light on the problem of bullying and ways to help resolve the issue. The main role that parent/carers can provide is creating a safe environment where young people can feel like they are able to talk about their feelings and problems and receive support.

All children are allowed to wear odd socks on the 12th November. The day sends an important message to children that they should be allowed to be themselves, free from bullying and helps us celebrate Anti-Bullying Week in a fun and positive way.

Small change. Big difference.

Whether it is verbal, physical, online or in-person, bullying has a significant impact on a child’s life well in to adulthood. By making small, simple changes, we can break this cycle and create a safe environment for everyone. Because together, we can challenge bullying. Change starts with a conversation. It starts with checking in. It starts with working together.
