Southwark Council Road Safety have joined with The Dangerous Theatre Company to visit pupils on 19th October to perform ‘Peli & Zebe’s Roadtastic Adventure’ road safety theatre show.

The show is aimed at Year 1 children and is offered free of charge as part of Southwark’s on going road safety for scholols programme. Hedgehog characters, Peli & his Uncle Zebe, make their way around the borough in search of the Roadwise Ranger, using clues and members of the audience to help them find safe places to cross roads.  Different characters make appearances during the show to add to the effectiveness of messages from the Green Cross Code. The show contains songs and movement which the audience can join in with.  The children crack all of the clues and it is only with their help that Peli can learn how cross the road safely.  By the end of the show Peli and the children all become Roadwise Rangers.
