Southwark’s Road Safety team will be busy delivering a programme of practical pedestrian training to year 3. This training is key to ensuring Southwark’s young road users start to understand the very real dangers of the road.

Working with a group of young children in this busy area, we are able to ‘look and listen’ for traffic, talk with them of the dangers and then practice crossing the road together safely.   Being out and about also gives us the opportunity to discuss street furniture and observe the poor standards of  many road users!
